A day trip to Montrose, availing wurselves of the £17 Scotrail tickets. 

Arriving around 11, we headed for the beach and were instantly greeted by a baby seal.  Loki was bemused,  TBH.

Its 5 miles out, 5 miles back, bea h on the outward leg, dunes on the back nine. Sunshine, low tide, warm. A flask of soup half way round. I even found a trolley or two as we wound our way back through town to the station.

Train home / dog spark out / job done.
