Stomping

This word is sometimes used by local people to describe the river when it is flowing fast. We had nearly 19mm of rain overnight so it was flowing quickly this morning. More rain is forecast over the coming days and week. No flooding here thankfully but upstream the River Rede is in flood at the moment.
