Sunshine and showers.

Mum popped in first thing....to see MrK.
We then parked at hers and walked into Fakenham. Market day...though very little out, as the weather was awful. Stood in the auction rooms for one downpour. I find it fascinating how the auctioneer keeps track of all the bidders.
Back at mums we had a coffee, before going back to join FK for lunch. He'd been cracking on with work. Later afternoon the rain had stopped and we decided to park the car in Brancaster village and walk down to the beach. The tide was on its way out so we managed to walk left past the rocks a fair way, before coming back inland across the creeks for a pub tea at The Ship. This was where MrK and I planned our NZ trip in the garden 8yrs ago. Its gone a bit upmarket and pricey since then! Although they ended up not charging for my main meal, which should have been wild mushroom risotto,  but ended up wild garlic, rocket and asparagus risotto. When I asked where the mushrooms were, although it was very gorgeous,  they realised that they'd left yesterday's choice on the menu!
Fk said it was the loveliest burger with pickled cucumber and MrK enjoyed his choice too, so we all had a lovely few ours together.  Love my little family.
