Once upon a time…

The Getalong Gang and M’s favourite books and characters, videos and annuals when he was struggling with reading skills way back when.

Today they’ve gone back into the loft until we decide what to do. They were never as popular as the Care Bears but have their value and come into the vintage toys category. Some early Game Boy computer games also found complete with boxes, and in two cases, original receipts. M remembered saving his News Shopper money to buy them.

Such a different day from yesterday; cold wet and consequently miserable. Yesterday’s drying sunshine gave me a big pile of ironing this evening. Visiting Janet this afternoon who is now in her seventh week in hospital, was a bright interlude. She’s persevering and hoping to be moved to another hospital for rehabilitation as soon as her BP allows.
