Withered

It was another day of garden photography, but this time I took my macro lens outside and tried to capture the dry, withered and contorted remains of the self-sown sunflower which bloomed so prolifically in the vegetable garden last summer. It was windy, so I struggled with focus, but once I had selected the best focused couple of photos I enjoyed playing with variations on mono conversions - I wish I had more time to really learn to do this kind of thing better.

This is the most recent of my three back blips this evening; but I still have all the current week to catch up with.
