A unexpected bonus at work today - Aldi's have built a new store nearby and consequently there have been traffic controls right outside the office for months causing much annoyance. Today they sent a bunch of flowers and a couple of bars of chocolate to each employee as an apology. A lovely gesture and I'm sure definitely not a ploy to get us to use the store in the future!!
