St Oswald #1

We're in Northumberland so Mr P can walk St Oswald's Way  from Heavenfield to Lindisfarne, a mere 100 miles.  Very appropriately,  this is St Oswald's Church at Heavenfield.  Oswald won a battle here in 674  in the name of Christianity .   Extra is a collage of the other places I visited today-  an old windmill,  a splendid standing stone and Belsay Castle and gardens. 
PS, Mr P walked 30km today!. From Heavenfield to Kirkwhelpington.  That's why I can't walk with him.
