Excitement

... at seeing a pair of goldfinches in our garden this morning :)  They seemed to be enjoying the dandelions, and spent quite a long time here - giving me the chance to put my long lens on my camera and grab some shots.

We had a nice gentle start to the day, then went to the garden centre after lunch and spent a small fortune on a load of planters, perrenials and a euonymus japonicus for the front garden.  Came home and planted up the latter and half of the former.  Totally knackered after that, so saved the other half for tomorrow.

Lovely chilled evening, with a Tim-cooked curry for dinner.
