A lack of brotherly love...

Back at the Oval for day three of Surrey v Somerset. Fair to say that the good guys (Surrey) had the better of things, by the close of play Somerset only led by 60 runs with four wickets left in their second innings. I would be confident of Surrey wrapping up a win tomorrow, but the forecast is pretty dire, so the weather may be the only winner.

When these two sides met at Taunton in 2022, Craig Overton of Somerset had to retire from the game with concussion after being hit on the head by his twin brother Jamie who plays for Surrey. It therefore came as little surprise this morning when Craig dished up a fairly vicious bouncer to welcome his sibling to the crease. Fortunately, from a Surrey point of view, there was no damage done, and Jamie went on to add a valuable 35 runs, including one towering six from the bowling of England spinner Shoaib Bashir
