Just the one

This seems to be the only tulip of its type in our garden but I was pleased to spot it when I looked out of the window this morning. It's been incredibly blustery, showery and quite chilly. The poor old tortoise had a duvet day. 
I visited my Mother at her care home where there was a difficult quiz on art in progress. She instantly recalled that Vermeer had painted Girl with a Pearl Earring and other residents were pretty clued up on art history, too. (Perhaps it was only difficult for me?!)
