Perfectly Balanced

This house down the street has a few of these metal cat sculptures scattered over the lawn, and they always fool me into thinking there’s a herd of cats hunting in the grass. I guess the bird is smarter than me.

A day of more gardening. We are getting the beds ready for tomatoes, even though it’s a tad early for planting. Because of the way things are sold, I have to buy the 6-packs whenever I see them in the store; if I wait for the right weather, chances are there won’t be any little plants available. So we’re going in early. I’ll probably have to cover them at night for a week or so, but that’s okay.
