Luscious Lilac

I was hoping for no wind & blue sky .... didn't happen!

Couldn't resist still blipping the Lilac despite the wind & lack of blue sky. The whole bush is covered with blooms .... the scent is lovely :-)

Chose this bloom as it was in the most sheltered place & dancing less than the rest! Think I managed a reasonably clear image :-)

Still cold ...... even with the sunshine the wind is keeping the temperature well down .... barely above single figures!

All four of the Sea Holly we planted are now showing life ...... chuffed as it's the first bare-root plants that we've had success with!
