Making my own blue sky...

As forecast, the weather was cold, grey, wet and windy today.  What a change from yesterday.

Knowing today was to be the worst day of the week weather wise, we'd already decided to stay local and enjoy this beautiful apartment.  

A lie in, some book reading, French toast for lunch followed by an afternoon  painting.  Such a pleasure to sit at the dining table with that wonderful view and all the beautiful soft light.

While I was painting D chilled in the second bedroom that has views over Oban Bay watching golf tutorials, reading his book and generally enjoying watching the boats.  Such a wonderfully relaxing day.  

The weather did improve by evening and we toyed with going out for dinner but having been so lazy all day, neither of us could be bothered!  lol  Instead D went to Piazza (the sister restaurant of the seafood place we went to for dinner on Monday evening) and got us takeaway pizza, which we enjoyed whilst watching tv.  It was the best pizza I have had in ages.  Proper Italian thin crust.  Yum.  

D was very bad and also bought two portions of their tiramisu.  I haven't had that in years. It was amazing!  

And so endeth a very lazy, and very relaxing day.
