Still the best name in the world as she enters her 80th year, turns 79 tomorrow so a wee early party as she’s off to the NC250 in the morning.
Busy at work then hot footed home to pick my mum up and take her into town for an orthopaedic assessment.
The driver of the truck who hit her back in September has admitted full responsibility so we’re in the process of a claim against her insurance.. This involved various assessments to evaluate the impact and today was the first. Hmm what a nasty man. Obviously hardened to umpteen Digby Brown chancers, here comes a genuine case and he could not have been more abrupt and lacking in empathy. Really quite shocking treatment for what she’s been through. Frustrating but in the end achieved what was needed which was a report of her experience and lasting damage.
