Coffee stop at just gone 11am this morning after we'd been walking for an hour. On the skyline you can see Froggatt and Curbar Edges, and at various points of the walk you could see Stanage, Bamford, Burbage and Millstone Edges too.

The walk followed paths that I'd not walked before, very interesting, although the first half was mainly flat with all the ascent in the second half... and only one lengthy section of bad mud. I followed James' example and climbed over the fence to avoid it!

Starting in Eyam, we walked through the village and came upon the Boundary Stone midway between Eyam and Stoney Middleton. If you're ever in the area Eyam, known as The Plague Village, is definitely worth a visit.

The views were amazing today, as was the weather, although it was quite cold at the start.
