Moelfre Island, Anglesey

Went out to run some errands this morning and fancied a visit to a beach, decided on Moelfre which I visit fairly often.

Moelfre has it's own road down to the village, turning off the main coastal road around the island. I chose the wrong day to go down there, contractors have dug the entire road up (about a mile in length) and there is a convoy system with a single lane open! Nightmare!

Anyhow, it was a lovely day, bits of blue sky and the sun trying to break through. I walked along the cliff path and took lots of photos. This is my favourite. Moelfre Island is covered with nesting birds, gulls and cormorants and the noise is very load of all the birds protecting their patch of rock! Oh, there are a few ships out there too!
