Dawn's Journal

Leisure

On the hunt for native bluebells I headed over to Winkworth Arboretum, and I was not disappointed; probably one of the best displays I've seen here over the years. The wild garlic along one of the steep paths down to the lake weren't bad either (extra)

In honour of this week's Wide Wednesday Challenge of "anything interesting from your day"  I selected this bench sitting in a sea of blue.  It's very appropriately inscribed WHAT is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare? from the poem Leisure by W.H.Davies.
