Baby Fox

Cleo came running downstairs this afternoon saying we had baby Foxes in the garden! So we all rushed upstairs to take a look, but all was not what it seemed - things were very wrong!
This tiny Fox cub was running round the garden after an adult Fox who clearly wasn’t it’s Mum and had no idea what to do with it! As we watched things went from bad to worse and the adult started throwing the baby around , much like a cat will throw a Mouse!
At this point I felt I needed to intervene, and marched up the garden frightening the adult away. Cleo and I managed to scoop the tiny, cold cub into a fishing net and then into a warm blanket in the cat basket. Luckily we have a local wildlife hospital so we took him there, he was cold and scared , but feisty so there is hope. The lady at the hospital put him in an incubator to warm him up …. I will keep you all informed, but please pray for him if you get chance .
