Anzac Day.

It's a public holiday today, and nothing at all is open in Queensland.  Except the Botanical Gardens.

It was a lovely morning, we got to the gardens early, so there was hardly anyone around.

The girls got the playground mostly to themselves.

We went for a long walk and returned to get the girls ice-cream.

By now the gardens were beginning to fill up so we decided to leave.
