Given it was Saltaire Festival - plenty of stalls - attractions and live music in Robert’s Park - CHA Walkers traversed a Saltaire Heritage Walk - which included Nab Wood - Hirst Wood - Milner Field - were Titus Salt lived - along the bottom of Shipley Glen - had to cross the beck twice - that was interesting - no bridge or stepping stones - had to find crossing places where water didn’t come over top of boots - before climbing up to the top

Bluebells and wild garlic seen in Hirst Wood - Morris Dancers seen on Victoria Road whilst walking for bus home - was a blooming good do
