Intruder

This common periwinkle has made its way through the gaps in the fence from our neighbour's garden. There are gaps in the fence because this stretch of fencing has blown down twice in the gales at considerable cost. Now we have mighty thick fence posts and gaps between the fence slats. We can't really complain about intrusion in any case as we do very well from our neighbour's fruit trees which overhang the fence.
