Day at a Time

Orchard Blossom Day

Our local environmental group held a blossom tea in the community orchard today as part of Orchard Blossom Day. The apples trees are looking lovely, despite the tricky spring weather. We went along to enjoy tea and cake. Here is part of the orchard with the gazebo behind it. It's still chilly but it was dry which was good. In fact we've had a more or less dry week.

The extra is the local cherry blossom which is about to start falling so has to be blipped for 2024 now.

A fairly relaxing day. A few jobs to do and some garden work to attend to.
