The Sidings

The display at the Community Centre was looked after and with a nice morning I took myself off to Staverton Station. It's on the South Devon Railway, a preserved steam railway running between Buckfastleigh and Totnes, much of it along the banks of the River Dart. I took a walk over the medieval river bridge and then along the path beside the railway line.

My photo is taken from the level crossing at the end of the station and shows the sidings where a variety of goods and engineering wagons are kept.
