Spring Aster

Was surprised to find this aster blooming alongside the house this morning, about five months earlier than expected. 

Parulas and yellow-rumps are back. Also saw a tree sparrow at the feeder this morning. Or at least where the feeder used to be, as my wife just took it down for the season.
