Mahonia berries

A topsy turvy day - we had our main meal at lunchtime, as MrM thought there would be food on offer at the evening ceilidh he played for. After we'd eaten I nipped into Holmfirth and back to see if there are any Folk Festival Programmes for sale, but it would seem that they haven't found their way into the shops yet.

Did a little gardening after MrM had left for the ceilidh, and put out our new 'humane' slug traps (if drowning slugs in beer is humane). Fingers crossed that they work - there's a whole army of slugs and snails munching through the plants.

The mahonia in the front garden is full of berries at various stages of ripeness - green, red and purple.
