Bikes to go!

The package sent overnight with a different courier arrived at midday. The delivery driver said he had no problem finding us! We phoned to let the retailer know, as promised. Two and a half hours later, the Parcelforce driver arrived with the original package. We sent him back on his way.

So to the vital contents - roof bars - so we could take our bikes on holiday, leaving tomorrow morning! They were, supposedly, easy to fix . . . provided you could follow the diagrammatic instructions. In fact, they weren't too difficult but we needed to be absolutely certain they were fixed correctly, so the task took longer than it should have. As there were 101 other things to do, it was a busy and tiring day. We retired well after midnight, leaving packing to the morning, with a growing 'still to do' list by the bedside.
