It Does What It Says On The Tin (Or Bottle)

Walking the mean streets of Ludlow whilst Mrs I does the hunting and gathering Aldi style.

This morning I saw and photographed a pair of Red Kites over our garden. Pictures are blurred so no good for blip.

Yesterday Hollie injured her foot. Alarm bells were ringing very loudly. We've been here before and our hearts were in our mouths.

An emergency trip to the vet and a thorough examination seemed to suggest she has strained (not broken) something. Possibly elbow joint, tendon or similar. But essentially nothing serious at this moment in time. Pain relief and three days house rest are the order of the day. The last episode cost £8000 and it was not all covered by insurance.

So, we are both relieved and holding our breath....

Weather - credit where credit is due, it has been a very nice day. Sunny and a bit warmer, but still very windy. I took full advantage and washed and valeted the car.

Tomorrow I pick my son up from the station, he's home for a short spell and we are looking forward to catching up with his life and adventures in Sweden.

That is all.
