...this holly bush in town continues to be a beautiful dark green with bright red berries, even as everyone makes such a fuss about the scilla and daffodils right next to it. I could just about hear it grousing, "Summer folk. Waltz into town expecting everyone to bend over backward for them. What did they do to keep things going in December, when it was cold and dark?"
