Ethiopian paintings, late 1500’s-early 1600’s

Part of current exhibit we saw @ Cleveland Museum of Art titled “Africa and Byzantium,” lots of amazing and beautiful art and artifacts. It is diptych showing St George slaying a dragon on the left, w. Virgin Mary & Christ on right D. was in Ethiopia in Peace Corps.
