Spring green

More gardening, just the humdrum weeding and clearing. Little shoots of spirea are appearing everywhere, and it will be a constant battle to keep it under control.

An afternoon walk with MrM, just a short one before he left to play with a ceilidh band this evening. The farm track was horribly muddy - not at all pleasant, as cows had obviously been taken down there on the way to fresh pasture! Looking down over Holmfirth from the cliff track, the spring green of the trees and fields was quite stunning.
