A stormy Easter Sunday

This is Sunday
Today, our first full day, the storm arrived just as predicted, although by this evening it had gone.  It wasn't soon enough for us to sunbathe on our loungers unfortunately, although some hardy souls did manage to sneak in some sunbathing in between the horrendous falls of rain.  Fortunately it remained warmer than the UK throughout!
Today, here in Cyprus it is Easter Sunday and there were a number of Easter themed decorations around the hotel - see extras for one of them.
Below is a passage from Pioneer Woman about Orthodox Easter:

Orthodox Easter is honored by Orthodox Christians, and is officially observed in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Lebanon, Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Russia, and Ukraine. Here in the United States, many Orthodox Christians will observe Easter Sunday, though this often occurs at a later date than the Easter date observed by the majority of Western churches.
