When we visited on Saturday Pa had complained that the display in his car was in German.  We visited on Sunday but he was out which, at first, he denied when we dropped by again today to visit.

Eventually he conceded that he had gone to look for a knife sharpener that once visited a local pub each month.  The man doesn't visit there any more but I checked and found out where he will be in a few weeks time so that Pa can get his garden shears sharpened. 

It turned out that the car display can be changed from German but resets.back to it when the engine is switched off, so not a simple fix and that it had been like it for several.years. 

After the garden day yesterday I was happy to so some ironing. And watch TV this afternoon.  Perfect weather for it.
