...The large spotty ceramic buttons I bought several many years ago. Shall I use the white or yellowy green ones on my coat? The green ones. I think.

A day that didn't go entirely to plan, but no matter!

MrM suggested a morning walk around Digley Reservoir - not too far away and about the right distance for the time available. We got there, and then realised that we'd forgotten the Bank Holiday factor - the car parks were jammed full (to the extent that some people may have trouble getting out around parked cars), and vehicles were parked along the road, and even in front of gates at field entrances. We decided not to add to the traffic chaos, and went home again via a rural route. Never mind, we'd go for an evening walk  instead.

After lunch MrM left for an afternoon music session in Marsden, and after tackling a couple of chores I changed in to my gardening clothes, only to realise that it had started to rain. And it kept on raining until after dark, so we didn't have an evening walk either. Ah well, could have been much worse - apparently there were thunderstorms and heavy rain in Leeds and Bradford, and roads were closed due to localised flooding.
