Little Beacons

These fabulous Scots Pine flowers caught my eye this morning - glowing brightly in a little burst of sunshine…

They will soon become ‘cones’…and turn brown.

Once again the weather cannot make its mind up if we are in winter or summer - alternating between bright warm sunshine with blue sky and cool grey and cloudy…at least it didn’t rain like it did last night after the thunderstorms.
