The Lost Bridge.

This part of the canal, near where we live, has always been a puzzle. The bridge numbers jump from 29 to 31 omitting bridge number 30. I have worked out that this must have been the site of bridge 30. The canal narrows and the sides are of stone. All the other bridges show this pattern. Nobody seems to know what happened to it. I will try to solve the mystery.
