Hatched

A beautiful hot sunny day, we had a few hours around the garden cutting the lawns, painting and sorting things out. A few neighbours joined us in our front garden for a cuppa before we quickly finished things to go and collect granddaughter Amelia from after school club.

We'd told her yesterday that our blue tits had hatched and she was keen to see them. It appears six are doing okay and one egg remains. The blipfoto shows Amelia pointing out the chicks in the nest. Lovely to be able to watch nature from your armchair!
