The best of a Bank Holiday

Up early to walk dogs as Elbows was off playing tennis with friends. I went for a long run and got absolutely gloriously soaked. I’m sure that I prefer running in rain much more than ice, frost or heat.

At lunchtime, we headed south to Bushy Park with MightyMouse, Dot.T and WelshMan in the car, plus the 2 dogs who travelled companionably in the boot together.

Met up with LongLegs, IrishLass and NoaNoa and then HatBox and SkyeMan and wandered around the park, spotting deer everywhere, but loving the rain and the freedom, the company and the catching up.

We stopped at a cafe and then kept walking.

Then waved bye bye to the Wimbledon car of 3 and went for a drink & snacks & Worms in a dog-friendly pub nearby. Fab extra photo to follow.

Then waved bye bye to the Faversham car and headed back to North London, dropped off the dogs and headed out to eat Turkish with Ali.

A late night. 26,000 steps and a wet Bank Holiday was decently done.
