Magnolia

The church where I work part time Wednesday and Thursday has two large southern magnolias beside the front entrance. Since last week they have started blooming. Most of the flowers are above my head but this one was eye level. There are many more buds down low so I hope I can get closeup photos!

The blooms look like velvet and have a lovely soft scent. I love them!
