Skipper Butterfly

I was very keen to get out early this morning - as I'm really not happy in the heat!

So, I'm on my usual lakeside walk and I stopped at this particular spot and this is what I saw. Serendipity!

I'm not sure if it's a large or a small skipper?? It was about 2cm in size.

I'm now sitting at home with the French windows open, in the shade, a lovely breeze blowing and next door's black cat Lucy on the sofa with me. She's not too keen on the sun either!
