Astley Hall

Lovely lunch in Chorley with old friends followed by coffee and a wander round the park and gardens of Astley Hall nearby. The hall has recently been renovated and was looking very smart. I particularly liked the chimneys dating from the 17th century when the original 16th century timber framed house was extended.
