We went to Brownsea Island today as the weather was beautiful, we had a free day, it was not the weekend and it was not school holidays! And it was just stunning there. With all the new leaves on the trees the colours were gorgeous. There was a slight sea mist which has hung around for a few days but I don’t think it deters from the views. We walked along to the far end of the island to eat our picnic overlooking the water. Didn’t see any red squirrels this time but they are always harder to spot when the trees are in full leaf. Such a lovely day our - I’m feeling quite spoilt at the moment!
