Aurora Australis …..

….. ….. ….. over a neighbour’s villa this evening.
What a sight. Such excitement seeing it from one’s own backyard! I was astonished to get this result with my iPhone. I would have expected that I would have needed to get out my Sony + tripod.
There’s a glimpse of Orion’s Belt bottom right, and Matariki much higher.
