Tewet Tarn at about 8 am.

Then to Booths in Keswick for breakfast. 

On my drive north I passed dozens (hundreds?) of walkers going down Dunmail Raise towards Grasmere. Very quickly realised it’s the Keswick to Barrow walk today.  On the way home I saw signs for the Fairfield Horseshoe fell race. 

My walk was only 2.5 miles and I probably could have parked closer to the tarn.  

In the afternoon a bit more garden work then I tried putting the tent up. There’s a first time for everything :)  Think I did things in the right order but will need another practice if I’m going to have a few nights away in it.
