The Bardfield Artists

To the Fry gallery at Saffron Walden to revisit the delightful exhibition of work by the Bardfield artists. Edward Bawden, Eric Ravilious and others. I love them with their portrayal of Britain in the post war period. Some work continuing through to the '80's. 

I bought a raffle ticket to win a picture - the draw isn't till November but who knows. And a tea towel of a hare - always a winner for me. 

Then a stroll around the market square buying a selection form the olive stall. Should go well with a glass of wine this evening.
