Firsts

Busy down at Glencoyne, even by 8am. All the pull-ins by the lake on the way down were full with campers, paddlers and kayakers. 

Beautiful water, almost a warm top layer with the sunshine.  Twenty minutes of bliss.  I tried some swimming shots of Andy with the birds,  but didn’t realise how hard it is to swim without your arms.    Afterwards it was the first day without the final down jacket layer and the hot water bottle. 

Later, cooking up in the garden. There’ll be some burnt flesh out there tonight, and not just on the barbies. 

I’ll be looking out for some electrical activity in the sky later tonight - renamed by the soundman, who’s been inundated with photos on social media, as the Aurora Boringalis.
