Tony Cragg at Castle Howard

Had an MRI scan this morning so decided to make the most of the trip. We called in at Castle Howard on the way home. 

Tony Cragg’s sculptures are dotted about the grounds and inside the house. We focused on the grounds today. What a beautiful day to enjoy the way the sculptures were set against the landscape and the houses. Well worth our visit. 

Whilst Richard walked back to the car I did a circuit of Ray Wood. The Bluebells are still in evidence and the Rhododendrons are coming into bloom.
