Bowls, Day Two

Back to Currie Bowling Club for the next round of this competition. I thought the 11am start would bring some respite from the weather but it was hot again today.

Yesterday we played Currie and today we played their near neighbours Balerno. The first half a dozen ends were very close and then we started to pull away to win 17 - 9 (and they conceded the final end).

The team dropped me off at Chesser Avenue so I could join Mister F at the allotment. I managed to get a few seeds sown before the showers came on then we headed for home.

Still achy but not as bad as yesterday and I’m bowling again tomorrow in the Heather League!
