Life is a Challenge!

A DEVON HOLIDAY BLIPMEET

It’s good to do different things when on holiday and today we did just that!

We met fellow Blipper, Simon, which was great - especially to see him looking so good following his accident some weeks ago.

Went to a Methodist Church service with Simon, his friend and Auntie - and sang some “good old hymns”!

When we got back to Simon’s, we were entertained by Auntie reading some Pam Ayres’ poems to us - what a delight!

Then it was time to eat a lovely lunch prepared by Simon - followed by his homemade rhubarb and ginger crumble - very yummy!

We had taken the Silly Saturday Gang in the car - just in case - and after lunch we all sat in the garden enjoying the sunshine, the perfume of the wisteria and of course, Dougal, Simon’s cat - I’m sure he was happy to have another 15 minutes on Blip.

I thought it would be good to have a shot with the SSG so must admit I press-ganged both Simon and Mr. HCB to be in the selfie.

What a great day - the middle shot is one of the beautiful Devon roads on our way home.

A busy couple of days so tomorrow will definitely be a rest day. Special thanks to Simon, L and Auntie for their hospitality and some lovely laughter and banter over lunch.

Apologies for no comments - haven’t yet found a pub with WiFi!
