Sunday: Hot Dogs

It was a bit rainy today, until mid afternoon, but that didn’t stop us having an excellent day.

We were up and about early so walked a good part of the way from our hotel to the Museum Of Modern Art.  It was a good place to be in the rain but we also enjoyed seeing some really iconic pieces of work that we didn’t know were there (by artists such as Klimt, Rothko, and my huge personal favourite, Hopper).

Lunch was a Reuben sandwich in a diner.  J declared it the best sandwich he’d even eaten.  I also had my first experience of a noodle krugel and will definitely be repeating it.

The weather cleared up beautifully so we found a rooftop bar which was our starting point for a very fun evening of several different bars.
