A day in the life

By Shelling

Welcome

When the audience enters at Kalmar theatre, this is my view, greeting them and helping if they need it. It's time for the end-of-term-performances for all the amateur theatre groups and dancers and musicians to show off what they learned during the term. Tonight was the young kids of seven to eleven years old to show the play they've been working on. The audience is a hundred percent parents, siblings and grandparents. The building shivers with nervous energy from both the players and the audience but all end well in storming applause, hugs and flowers. It's two hours of my life but may well be a life long memory for the participants.

The rest of the day was spent cleaning windows, 22 of them, some double glazed. There were plenty of moments sitting down in the sun for a coffee break though, a day well spent, I see everything so much clearer now.
